Over time, if your content is great, you’ll be able to tap into that sweet spot. Whether it’s 10 times per day or 5 times per week, whatever feels comfortable for you will be better than posting something every now and then that falls flat.
Post at the best times
The best times of day and days of the week for Instagram engagement vary based on your audience. MakeUseOf reports that morning and late afternoon are most popular with U.S. users, but it’s important to keep an eye on when your followers come online as well

On Sundays, for example, many people are more likely to post more than usual as they gather with friends and family at church or in front of a TV screen, so you might consider keeping quiet during these hours if Sunday is also when you have one-on-one time with friends or family.
If a larger percentage of your target market is active later in the evening (say between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. Monday through Friday), experiment with testing out those hours as well. Of course, all of these recommendations are subject to change depending on how large your audience grows and how much demand there is around what you create.
